Water SanitationClean water is a necessity for all life. Many places throughout the world do not have access to water free of contamination. This is due in part to the lack of toilets in populated areas. Water is easily contaminated with viruses and bacteria too small to see, but powerful enough to make us sick. Sometimes these diseases lead to death if they go untreated. The invention of both the toilet and water purification systems have brought low cost solutions to a very serious problem. You will use math to figure out how many toilets and water purification systems are necessary and affordable for each of the communities.
