Water in Niger
This video shows students how people in Niger are able to access water. It sheds light on the issue of women and girls being asked to fetch water while men and boys are educated and work outside the home.
GOOD: Water Conservation
This video compares the water usage difference between choices kids and adults can make. We discussed that water is used not only coming from the tap, but also to PRODUCE goods, such as food products. (I also gave them a disclaimer that only adults would choose between beer and wine at dinner time.)
GOOD: Water
We began this video at the 36 second mark in class. It shows very specific visuals of the amounts of water we use in the United States compared to others around the world. We also discussed how unclean water causes health issues around the world.
Howdini: Water Conservation
We watched this video to see some of the ways people are able to save water in their homes.
